Friday!

Its been a long week but the weekend is finally here!! Nate and I will be leaving the house at 5:30 Sat morning for Waxhaw, NC. Nate is competing in a Highland Game, his first in NC!! I will be going to bed early tonight!! The weather says its suppose to rain all weekend...packing the rain gear. Take a look at all of the events that will be going on in Waxhaw! http://www.wshg.org/

I also want to send lots of Congrats to Teresa Vestal today, she passed her final exam!! She can now practice as a Chiropractor!!! Yay

Play Ball

I have to start by saying, I miss my friends at 180 Medical. But God has blessed me with an amazing job here in NC! I started on Monday and last Friday they had a Sample sale, which is when all employees get to go buy the clothes that have been floating around for model for $2.00 each. And yes there is TONS of clothes. Even though I hadnt started yet, I was able to get in and enjoy this exciting event. They have 4 a year and there will be another one before Christmas. Yay!! Then today we had a company softball event for United Way, everyone got to walk down to the Grasshoppers Stadium, http://www.gsohoppers.com/park/, have lunch and stay out of work for 2 hours. Well I know your all jealous but let me remind you today in NC it was 45 degrees and raining....so not the best day............ but alot of fun!

Catching up....

Well I am alittle behind but hope to catch you up on everything quickly:

• I worked all weekend catering


• Monday Charlie got spayed but is doing very well


• I started my job Monday and so far so good


• Nate has gotten into a Highland Game here on Nov. 7Th, so look forward to that post
  
• We finished the book report over the Hatchet last night, pray he gets a good grade (Does anyone have a suggestion for the next book?)

I think thats the highlights for now. I have included some pictures we took the other day while out driving. Fall is here in NC and its getter prettier by the day!

The weekend is here!!

Its a full weekend of wedding catering for me. Last night was a wedding reception, today and tomorrow are weddings......and then Monday its off to work I go! So I leave you today with this recipe from Hungry Girl. Its great and Nate even liked it!

Vanity Fair here I come....

God has opened another door.....I will begin working for the Vanity Fair Corporate Office in Greensboro on Monday. Its a great opportunity for me and has alot of perks. Vanity Fair owns Wrangler, Lee, Nautica, and North Face, to name a few, which means lots of clothes! I will be working in the replenishment department and will cross train on the Kohl's accounts. I am very excited and cant wait to see what God has in store for us next!!
